Friends with Wings

…. And I can’t pretend to understand
why the wings meant so much to you.
But if we’re really friends, it…
it should be enough
just knowing that they did.

sentimental

thankfull…

aus aktuellem Anlass…

… erlaube ich mir heute,
meinen Chef von Anfang der 90er zu zitieren:

Herr Doktor G……,

Ganz ernsthaft:
DANKBAR diesem Menschen.
HÖCHSTEN Respekt!!!

Neuahrsansprache (same procedure as every year)

Good evening!

Well, I must say that everything looks nice.

Is everybody here?
Indeed, they are, yeah.
Just to please me

Champagne!
same procedure as every year…

I now declare this bazaar opened!

I think I’ll retire.
As I was saying, I’ll retire…

how convenient

kannst du dir selbst weissmachen,
dass du ein freier Mensch bist
- und nicht nur ein Verrückter.

aus: ‘The Death Freak’ (Clifford Irving & Herbert Burkholz)

…after 5 years [of therapy] I finally realized that understanding yourself really isn’t all that important.
Because you never can, not fully. All you can do is pick a convenient position, a half-truth you can live with. Then, if you are lucky, you can con yourself into believing that you’re a free human being, and not just a freak.

Armstrong

The most famous astronaut ever is Lance Armstrong.
But that guy turned out to be such a notorious liar
that now no one believes the moon landing was real.

Schraube locker

und – nachschieb -frei nach Monty Python:

Worte des Altmeisters

All ya can do is do what you must
You do what you must do and ya do it well

(Bob Dylan)

Dr. Charlie Goodson

> …. Sounds to me like you have a man cave.

# What’s a man cave?

> It’s a place where you keep all your favourite stuff. You can do whatever you want and nobody bothers you. Used to be called life, but then you got married. So it’s just a *room*
